The Arbeiter is a highly modular Very Heavy Fighter platform built with entirely domestic Rheinland technology. Publicly, it is the cornerstone of the Union’s drive for independence from foreign spacecraft. Implicitly, the Arbeiter is an attempt to leapfrog Hessian and GMG fighter designs. Using their time-honed talents as shipbuilders, the Unioners have developed a space superiority fighter mounting a unique Thorium MOX powerplant of baffling output, forging a rival to the Rheinland Military’s Wraith, to the concern of strategic planners.

Handling

Unique Features

The UN Arbeiter is the only very heavy fighter presently in discovery to mount a massive total of nine cannons (eight forward firing guns and one turret), giving it more guns than any other VHF by a count of two. This massive damage output potential is ballanced by the vessel's significant size compared to other vessels in its weight class (by area, it is the second biggest Very Heavy Fighter in the game), and its comparatively low armour compared to its scale. Players using the Arbeiter should attempt to capitalise on its massive capacity to dish out damage to other very heavy fighters and bombers, whilst remembering to avoid staying in the cannons of rival heavily armed fighters (such as the Sabre) for very long.
