Ludendorff Base was constructed by Wild forces after the Drake Incident, in which a newly constructed Nomad Jump Gate within Omega-58 had collapsed in upon itself, snatching up planets and installations along with. Not long after, in 820 A.S., the infected humans returned to rebuild their former stronghold. Much was needed to begin reestablishing themselves again in this system, but their wide "connections" to normal humans proved invaluable in this effort. The general purpose of this installation is to act as both a monitoring station of the nearby Jumphole, and as a staging ground for patrols into neighboring Omegas.
