Review (4.86) The Sarissa is like a "uncut gem". She is immensely powerful, but she is a bit fat. While only slightly larger then the Ranseur, she is by no means just large, she is HUGE!!. While "Sarissa" may appear as a rather underpowered ship, it is quite the beast. What makes this ship such a "con" is that her less notable, and often unknown "powers", does not lie within her ordinary stats. The Sarissa appears to be a medium BS, with medium BS firepower, medium BS hull and heavy dreadnought size. However, what most people doesn't know, is that this ship can almost out-turn an Osiris. This incredible handling, and the even more incredible 32ms reverse speed (that is A LOT for a BS) make the Sarissa into an formidable opponent. Beware though, the Sarissa is heavily skill dependent. Thus anyone without a unshakeable confidence in their capship piloting skills should stay clear of this beauty for any other reason then RP. This is not a ship that is user-friendly in terms of combat. PS: it is way better then Ranseur when it comes to traveling through roid fields. Review (4.86) Myself, and every player I have spoken to, regretted the purchase of this craft. It looks nice but is far to huge and inferior in comparison to both other ships of the same class and the Ranseur, which costs only a bit more than the Sarissa and improves upon it in every way.
