Skiros was built in 816-817 A.S. using mostly materials either stolen or looted from various convoys and sites, Freeport 7 among them. Heavily defended due to its location in the heart of the Corsair Empire, Skiros fulfulls several functions, some of which being maintenance of space ships and food production. Due to its biodome, Skiros has picked up the interest of several influential figures within Corsair society who either want the produced food for their own ships or to study the architecture of it to maybe allow other Corsair installations to produce their own food -- and maybe one day solve one of the biggest problems associated with spaceborne travel.
