Phillpe Alberto is a Corsair Commander who flies under the patronage of Corsair Elder Ben Laowai and is often found in command of the Xibanya Nuren and the Corsair gunboat Outsider. While in command of the latter ship, and as part of a strategic deal signed between the Corsairs and the Colonial Remnant he was stationed in Tau 44 on Sulawesi Station where he commanded the Outsider on numerous interdiction missions on Outcast Cardamine shipments. Recalled to Corsair space he then took the ship on a charting mission throughout the Omicron Delta system and afterwards resumed piracy operations in Omega 7, Cambridge and the Dublin system.
Alberto is known for his overly formal manner of speech, thought to be his way of compensating for his lowly station at birth. He tends to follow the precedents set by his Elder patron and prefers to use words to resolve battles before resorting to weapons. He is however a staunch follower of the ancient Cosair code of Conduct and has no hesitation to stand by his fellow Corsairs when it is required.
