As the scientists and engineers perfected the equipment tested on the Isis, Order naval command decided to refit the entire ship, swapping out the old experimental equipment for the much safer improved versions, to the relief of everyone onboard the Isis. Still bearing the marks of early combat duties and weapons testing, the old workhorse has been given a new role, protecting [[Omicron Minor]] and [[Planet Toledo]], home of the Order. To this day, the Isis is still serving faithfully, helped in no small part by the original design specs of the ship. With the boosted reactor capable of powering a blizzard of long-range fire, and the reinforced structure with heavy armor protecting the ship from all but the heaviest guns and torpedoes, the Battleship Isis is truly a sight to behold, and as of yet still unmatched in combat. | As the scientists and engineers perfected the equipment tested on the Isis, Order naval command decided to refit the entire ship, swapping out the old experimental equipment for the much safer improved versions, to the relief of everyone onboard the Isis. The Battleship Isis was one of the first true Order battleships, wholly constructed with Order resources and facilities, finally being commissioned in late 806 A.S. State of the art at the time, the Isis served as a testbed for several classified Order technologies, which slowly spread to other Order equipment, and eventually the House governments of Sirius. With an oversized power core and reinforced superstructure, the Isis was built tough to withstand the rigors and dangers of testing experimental technology.
As the scientists and engineers perfected the equipment tested on the Isis, Order naval command decided to refit the entire ship, swapping out the old experimental equipment for the much safer improved versions, to the relief of everyone onboard the Isis. Still bearing the marks of early combat duties and weapons testing, the old workhorse has been given a new role, protecting Omicron Minor and Planet Toledo, home of the Order.
