An hour into it, a freelancer who had been working with the Rheinlanders turned and opened fire on the now damaged Fafnir, claiming they had opened fire on him. He was destroyed minutes later. Then, a Liberty Navy Siege Cruiser entered system, but was defeated by the combination of the Rheinland Cruiser and the Fafnir's dual [[Nova|Nova torpedo launchers]]. Shortly after, Officer Smith managed to destroy another ship, a Wraith, but was himself gunned down as he tried to establish communication with the Liberty Navy once again.<br>
