Empire

Empire (from lat. Imperium) is a monarchistic government type that is used by many states around Sirius. In historical view an empire does not need to be a monarchistic goverment. In republican time of Rome, the state were also called "Imperium". An Imperator was just a high military title like admiral or gernal today. Because of that there are two German words for that; "Kaiser" (from lat. "Caeser") und "Imperator". A "Kaiser" is always also a state's head and leader while a Imperator does not need to. Anyway, the English language does not make any differents between that.

Empires of Sirius

Second Kusari Empire , a Sirian House formed by Japaness from the Kusari sleeper ship. A semi democrtaic monarchy.

Imperio del Corsario (Corsair Empire), a Sirian House formed by Hispanics (mainly Spain and Greek) from the Hispania sleeper ship. An oligarchic state.

Former Empires

Rheinland Empire ("Kaiserreich Rheinland"), first Rheinic state. 3-672 AS. The Federal Republic of Rheinland followed of the empire. The Unioners see themselves as the remaining Kaiserreich von Rheinland.

First Kusari Empire, a Sirian House. Offical from 4 -825 AS. Fusionated with the Kusari Republic to the second empire in 825 AS.
