Meskhenet Station was built by The Order on a strategic spot in the proximity of Jump Holes leading into Omicron Mu and Omicron Minor. The station serves as a defensive outpost of the Order. In addition to its own significant defenses and fighter patrols, at least one Order capital ship usually stays in the vicinity of the station, which has recently been a target of frequent attack by the Nomads. Meskhenet also has long-range radars capable of tracking other ships venturing into Zeta, including ones belonging to the Core, the Corsairs, Zoners and other parties, but these radars are unable to track the organic Nomad ships.
