Protected by the Newgate Minefield, Fort Winchester, as one of the high security areas of the Bretonian Armed Forces, first and foremost serves as a training facility to prepare recruits of the Armed Forces for the arduous task of fighting Gallia and the various criminal elements of Bretonia. Fort Winchester, together with the Battleship Harlow that protects the entrance of the mine field, is equipped with the best technology to both efficiently train soldiers and save valuable resources that are desperately needed to fuel the war effort.
Every four months, new conscripts are brought in from the various military facilities on New London and Cambridge. However, with the Bretonian birth rate at an all time low, the casualties of war are increasingly hard to counteract with a steady influx of new Soldiers, and as such, with each shipment of new conscripts, less arrive to undergo the government mandated training on Fort Winchester.
