Hans Gluckner, (born January 14th, 789 A.S.) is currently serving in the Red Hessian Army as the acting quartermaster of the Red Hessian Army's Armament and Acquisitions Department (A&A).
Gluckner used to be a Hauptmann in charge of his own Heimdall class gunship, the RHGB-Hummel, until a memorable run in with Viva Velasquez, when he gambled his command over the ship during a rigged game of poker. Viva then stole the gunship and never brought it back. Major Gunther Hoerst, Gluckner's commander, was furious at the Hauptmann for falling for this old trick and immediately stripped him of his rank and privileges.
Gluckner is currently assigned to semi-civilian duty under the direct command of Oberleutnant Karl van der Riess, where he oversees the logistics of the Red Hessian Army, mostly relaying van der Riess's orders although sometimes acting autonomously in an attempt to regain his good graces.
