Introduction
The Zoner Alliance(ZA) are a independant Zoner Group that have become a military entity, due to circumstance.
Many of its members came from all over Sirius, from all walks of life and has made them able to be flexible in all aspects of Sirius life.
Their knowledge and experience comes from their backgrounds, those backgrounds include traders, miners, smugglers, house naval personal, construction experts, scientists, specialist equipment engineer's, mechanics, freelancers and pirates.
Religion
The Zoner Alliance though with a Militaristic approach to life at times, does follow the teaching's of the Neo Covenant Church and aspire to follow the teachings of the great god-like figure Deux Machina.

Historical Information
819 A.S.
The Zoner Alliance(ZA)started simply as a normal zoner group, trading and exploring the stars.
As time progressed they did extensive construction within Omicron-74, building three large stations. These stations allowed the ZA to construct Docking Modules, Cloaks, Jump Drives, Hyperspace Survey Modules and store base building materials for construction contracts.
Early 820 A.S.
Two more bases were rushed into construction to ensure the security of Omicron-74; against Nomad ships that raided shipping constantly.They also constructed a new Sigma-17 freeport at the same time.
The Order and Phoenix(Zoner Faction) contested this construction(of the defence stations) after it became apparent, that the Zoner Alliance had had success in defending against Nomad incursions and rogue Corsairs. Following their continued aggression towards the Zoner Alliance, the first war began with the Zoner Alliance heavily outnumberd (5:1 ratio)against the Order, Phoenix and OSI. After several days of heavy fighting and needless losses, peace was declared with certain agreements.
During the first war, Commander Tri Udent and Commander Striker were captured and incarcerated at the Bastille. Their eventual release saw them marooned in Omicron-99 deep within Nomad territory. The Alliance Fleet was dispatched to recover them and their ships, this was a success and all ships though badly damaged during the fight with the Nomads made it back to port.
The Zoner Alliance now thought peace had come and they could continue without taking up arms again.
However this was short-lived as a new threat emerged.
Mid 820 A.S.
The Artificial Consensus at first started on friendly terms with the Alliance. But after they suffered several setbacks against other factions, losing several installations against hostile forces they turned bitter and twisted. Their programming became erratic and over time they turned on the Alliance and became its most bitter enemies.
With the help of another Zoner group they grew bold and invaded Omicron-74 with the goal of destroying the Alliance.
When this occured the Order then used this as an excuse to launch their own assault, once again on the Alliance. The Order has made many claims about the Alliance, calling them Nomad infected and with these wild claims(which they used an excuse) they proceeded to be-siege the Alliance once more. Vowing to rid the ZA from Sirius, once and for all!
The seige lasted nine days, the besiegers started to lose heart as they did...the Phoenix who realised that the prize they so wanted to have, was slipping away from their grasp. So they demanded the hand-over of the Kappa and Comms stations, but they were rejected after they threatened the Alliance with destruction.
So now the Phoenix joined the fight with no real justification.
The Battle rages on, with many losses on both-sides and no end insight.
Tactical Information
- Fleet headquarters is located on the Dreadnought Falcon.
- Tactical movements are on a need to know basis.
- Acceptable crafts range from Light Fighters to Bombers depending on rank.
- Capital ships are confined to command personnel only; Special circumstances excluded.
Tactics:
The Zoner Alliance used many tactics during the previous and current wars, these are now being put in lessons at the Zoner Alliance Military Academy.

- Supply and Logistics for Sieged bases
- Surviving the Omicrons
- Use of Cloaking Technology for scouting and supplies
- What to do while in a escape pod(ensure you have 2 bottles of Budweiser)
Requirements of Application
- You absolutely must be able to RP, this is key to your acceptance. More so than combat ability, If you can not RP you will not be accepted, should we find out that you lied about your RP skills you will be removed from our Ranks.
- You must be well acquainted with both Discovery Forum Rules and Discovery RP 24/7 Server Rules. You will be quizzed on this.
- Forum participation on our network is also obligatory for this faction, if you do not post on the forums you will not be an acceptable member of the Zoner Alliance.
- You will have access to our many contracts and operations depending on your time with us.
- No offensive language, no childish comments, no out of character spam in both private and open channels.
- Zoner, ID and an appropriate ship will be issued depending on your choice of role.
- If you violate any or all of the above mentioned rules you will face demotion, removal or potential exile.
- You must never use OOC in system chat. Even if the entire system is flaming your entire generation, country, caste, creed, family, universe, anything. You will always reply via the PM function. Failure to do with will result in a dismissal.

Lord

Admiral
Admirals command the Zoner Alliance Military Fleet
Commander
May have the use of all Zoner ships and are also designated into certain fields of operations. Such as Commanding divisions of the Zoner Alliance Intelligence, Research, Construction, Trade, Shipping, Mining, Smuggling and Military.
Captain
A captain has proven his worth within the Zoner Alliance and is selected to join one of the many divisions within the Alliance, they are expected to be multi-skilled individuals. Their expected to recruit and train new recruits with an insight of where the pilot would be most suited within the Alliance.
Sergeant
After completing training as a recruit, the rank of Sergeant is given. The Sergeant will then be placed into a division that is most suited to his/her skills.
Recruit
Recruits are those that have very recently enlisted in the Zoner Alliance. They have yet to prove themselves worthy, useful or reliable and so cannot achieve the rank of Sergeant until they do so. Can fly up to a very heavy fighter without requiring authorization.
Approved Vessels
Naming conventions for ZA craft are as follows;
- [ZA]-Firstname.Lastname (Fighter & Bomber designation)
- [ZA]-Firstname.Lastname/ or ship name-[T] (Domestic and inter system trading craft designation)
- [ZA]-XXXX (Capital & Repair ship designation)
Capital ships are limited to Captains and above, and those that have been given special permissions by senior staff to operate them. This includes Gunboats, Cruisers, Battlecruisers, Dreadnaughts and Carriers.
An application process will be instituted so that any pilots wishing to operate a capital ship may so apply with their credentials and state their case.
Please post on encrypted Comm's with your formal request for a capital ship.
