Gallic Metal Service developed Ultralloy to provide Gallic Royal Navy ships with armor plating and internal structures that were strong enough to absorb damage from nuclear munitions while shielding the crew from radiation. Nickel and Tungsten provide the alloy with strength and durability, while Tantalum, Gadolinium, and Holmium create an effective shield against neutron penetration. While Ultralloy does not make a ship indestructible, it does measurably increase survivability for the crew by reducing their radiation exposure.
