Planet Wiesbaden is a young but mild, sandy world orbiting the major star in Omega-54. It has a thick layer of atmosphere composed primarily of nitrogen and oxygen, and is thus capable of supporting human life. Automated surveys to the surface confirmed a steady amount of metals in the crust; primarily iron, silver, beryllium, titanium, zinc and aluminium.
A Hessian colony project has been planned in early 810 A.S., but was pushed back by the Casablanca offensive and the subsequent capture of planet Tangier, which became a primary colonisation focus in the Omega border worlds from then on. Wiesbaden is currently home to little more than automated mining stations.
