Biography

Charis

Before coming into the humans' plane

As an ethereal spirit, Charis is not, and never was, just some form of energy. He is a conscious and highly evolved sentient being. Though not from this world, his race has a grand connection with that of the humans, for the simple fact that they represent the avatars, the duplicates, of actual stars from all around the Universe.

Given his rather young age, he still needs to learn, reason for which in the year of 743 A.S. he was sent along with his mentor, Ty'rael, one of "The Seers", to a certain place in the Sirius sector where the two planes, their own and that of humans, converge: namely, the atmosphere of Planet Eris, within the Baffin system. The reason for this "quest" of his was simple, to learn about the humans and their ways and to understand the grand scheme of the Universe.

Joining with a "star"

In the year of 820 A.S., after decades of observation, Charis grew over-confident on his abilities and knowledge and suddenly decided to take a chance, against his mentor's advice. He picked one random human who was flying by the planet and united their energies, Charis theoretically becoming part of that human, which proved to be named Allan Williams.

A few weeks later they finally understood each other and their bonds were mostly complete, reason for which they could communicate easily and at any time. Being unable to leave Allan's body though, Charis explained this to the human and they decided to stick together for the time being.

Allan

Childhood

Supposedly born on Freeport 1, in Omega 3, Allan was the child of a poor Zoner family. Since his parents were unable to keep him, they decided to leave him on the station and leave. Luckily for him, a Bowex employee found him in the guest quarters of the Freeport and decided to take the little boy to Leeds, hoping a foster family would be found.

Allan was lucky enough to be taken in the care of a young couple who gave him this name and made sure he'd live a good life. They lived happily and he became a respectful young man.

Freelancing

After turning 21, Allan took his life in his own hands. Thanking his foster parents for taking him in for all these years, he vowed to repay them one day and left for Cambridge to find himself some work.

With little experience, he didn't actually do much at first, so he had to live on the planet and work as a waiter for a few months. After getting enough money, he started training lessons for both flight and standard weapons use, having a plan to become a bounty hunter. One year later, he did succeed in joining them but he quickly realized he wouldn't want to kill people, so he left that career for the sake of becoming an honest trading escort.

Joining with a "star"

In 820, Allan was quite happy with his life. He had a good job and casual free times, always ready to work and happy to laugh along with any trader that would hire him.

One day, he had just finished a run trough Coronado and went to Baffin and hear the latest rumours from the Shasta Orbital Skyhook. Meeting the TAZ was always peculiar for him, but not that bad though, since it brought a smile on his face. Still, what happened after he left from the station was far more peculiar. On his way to the Roussillion Jump Hole, as he was passing by Eris, all went upside down as he met "face-to-face" with a being from another world.

Info

The ship "they" fly

Cv vheavy fighter.png
The Astral Wing
Eagle class VHF

Allan pilots a classic CTE-6000 "Eagle" fighter vessel. Since his "allegiance" with Charis, they've agreed to rename the ship as "The Astral Wing", similar to it's former name, "Will's Wing", since they thought it would be fitting for this new "ownership". As a standard fighter it's not that powerful, but Allan has enough skill to dodge enemy fire (most of the time) and fire back if needed in order to protect a fellow trader.
