One of the newest battleships of the Richelieu class, Guillestre has played an important role in the numerous battles for Dauphine that the Gallic Royal Navy decisively won in 808-812 A.S., practically taking the system away from the Council's control. As the Gallic Navy advanced towards Bretonia, and the Languedoc system it was previously assigned to was firmly in Gallia's hands, the Guillestre and her large fighter wing was assigned to Tau 23, to secure the captured BMM base.
