Introduction
Kishiro Technologies is one of the two great keiretsu of Kusari, a sprawling empire manufacturing goods from optical chips, engine components and gas miners, to high quality electronics for the day to day use of Kusari consumers.
While not as politically well-connected as their primary competitor, Samura, Kishiro has instead focused its efforts on developing cutting-edge technology and is viewed as a progressive company, embracing change and innovation over the traditionalist views of the mostly conservative Samura controlled government.
History
Founded in 10AS by Katsuhiro Kishiro as a small research company, Kishiro won the approval of the Kusari Imperial Family through it's development of a genetically modified fish species optimized for life in New Tokyo's alien ocean waters and later, introducing a new strain of rice able to flourish in the harsh growing conditions found on New Tokyo.
After renaming the company to Kishiro Technologies, Katsuhiro Kishiro embraced a progressive research environment for his company on the recently built Shinagawa Station that in 91AS, lead to breakthroughs in the mass production of quantum optronics using a common polymer base. This revolutionized the Kusari economy, and Kishiro optical chips were included in almost every product on the market, from optronics to ships to jumpgates and tradelanes to common consumer electronics, including products made by it's rival Samura. With it's lucrative production of optical chips, Kishiro expanded it's manufacturing capabilities and established the Yukawa Shipyard within the nearby Honshu system for the manufacture of high quality engine components and construction of ships to be used in the gas mining operations of the Crow Nebula.

Code of Conduct
- All pilots shall obey the Discovery server rules.
- Sanctions will not be tolerated, especially the notorious f1 rule. If it happens, make sure you explain it fast.
- This is an RP server, use suitable role play, no out of character chat in system.
- When in convoy, the leader is the key to survival. Make sure you obey him.
- Employees will do nothing to harm Kishiro's reputation.
- Weapons are for self-defense only, you should not fire a shot without being able to explain a valid reason behind it.

Ranks in Kishiro are divided into two categories. Board of directors and employees. There is no need for higher ranks, convoy leader is always picked from the convoy group, and it is usually the pilot with most experience.
