The Maltesian Navy (aka Maltese Navy - MN) are the national forces and law enforcements of the Nazione Maltese. They are ordered by the National Council of Malta.
Not like in most other states, the MN is both; police and military. The Navy's size is not known but in a high number esspecially when compared to the relativ low population of Malta.
