Omega-55 System

Omega-55 is where the Rheinland component of the Wild regrouped after the Nomad War. It is from here that Das Wilde bases its raids, particularly plaguing the Corsairs and Red Hessians due to the short distance between Omega-55 and their own bases. Omega-55 is not as well defended as Omega-58, but part of its defenses lie in that the system is mostly dead, having only a sun and a planet for navigational landmarks. While trespassers wander throughout the system, Das Wilde can set up ambushes to overwhelm them. More recent reconnaissance operations have revealed that Omega-55 is being fortified with a large supply of Scorpion Gunboat Drones and other defenses, though the disposition of these defenses appears fluid.

Ostrava Asteroid Field A large asteroid field in Omega-55 haunted by numerous patrols of The Wild. After The Wild had to flee from Rheinland in 803 A.S., they gathered forces in Omega-55, sporadically raiding nearby Omega and Rheinland systems. Exact location of the Wild hideout in Ostrava is yet to be discovered.
