Asteroid Fields

Veracruz Ice Field

Veracruz Ice Field

The Veracruz Ice Field was once part of the Sonora Field; later the two parts split; and Veracruz is now drifting towards the edge of the Vespucci system.

Sonora Ice Field

Sonora Ice Field

The Sonora Ice Field was originally part of The Barrier, but drifted away into the gravitational anomaly of the Vespucci system.

Leniex Asteroid Cloud

Leniex Asteroid Cloud

The Leniex Asteroid Cloud forms, in a subtle way, the first layer of Fort Leniex' defences. The cloud and its contents are known to cause major electromagnetic interferences to all sensor and scanning equipment. Due to this, and due to the location of the cloud, further analysis was not possible. All details about the composition of the cloud are unknown, as are all details about the composition of the asteroids located within. However, half of those appear to be heavily magnetic, while the other half appear to be parts of the Sonora Ice Cloud that drifted to this location some time ago.

What is truly known, is that Fort Leniex is located in the centre of the cloud. Why the Lane Hackers chose to construct the fort inside of this cloud is not known either, however rumour has it that they developed very advanced sensor and scanning equipment, based on the mythical "Spyglass" systems, which is not affected by the cloud.

Beware the monster in the mist.

Hackers Satellites

Throughout the Vespucci system, a large number of Hackers' satellites are spread throughout. These satellites are used to relay communications through deep space, and presumably through the Leniex Cloud to Fort Leniex.
