Vichy is one of the most recent asteroid bases built in Gallia by the Council. The Sioule Asteroid Field lacks any valuable resources, so large asteroids within the field are mostly intact. The lack of mining activity also ensured that the Police and Navy are not motivated to thoroughly patrol inside the field. The Council started building Vichy in 655 A.G.S., and in six years it was fully operational.
