A heavily modified Osiris class Transport, only the outer hull remained after Order technicians started to modify an Osiris class battleship to achieve a new mobile assault base. The cloaking mechanism was removed, leaving room for four seperate large launch tubes. These were not meant to fire torpedoes into space, but to allow rapid deployment of multiple fighters into space in rapid succession. A revolving mechanism "reloads" the tubes with fighters and bombers sitting in the inside the Geb.
Although larger than the Osiris, the light powercore classifies the Geb a Cruiser, and limits its weapon and shield sizes. The nature of this ship also allows it to function as a deadly artillery platform, assisting its Fighters against large threats. At close range the lighter shielding makes the ship vulnerable, especially against other Capital Ships.
Handling
- This ship is too large to use docking bays, it must use mooring points.
The Geb is the most Overpowered capital ship in discovery, if your a cap pilot that wants to put minimal effort into PvP than this is your ship (or if you hate core).
The Geb is the smallest Battleship in disco, it is almost the same size as the Order cruiser, its more thin than the osiris and mako, and its shorter than the osiris. Too add even more, this ship has the armor of a Dunkirk, has THE FASTEST TURN RATE of all the Battleships in disco and turns faster than any of the Battlecrusiers in disco.
Im not done, since its a "carrier" (yea right) it has an absurd amount of secondary cannons making it a nightmare for any cruiser or gunboat pilot trying to kill it. Wait im still not done, its arcs allow it to fire its Heavy cannons in literally any direction it wants, not to mention that same trait for all its primaries and secondaries.
This ship is absurdly overpowered in every way possible, its nearly impossible for even cruisers to hit, not too mention its size and armor allow it to strafe and charge kill even the valor with ease.
If this does not spell "Overpowered" too you thank I don't know what does.
Recommended Loadout:
Fill the heavy slots with cerb cannons. Fill the Primary slots with order primary cannons. Fill the first 2 secondary slots with flak cannons. Fill the rest with order secondaries.
