Despite being an older design La Fierte, true to her name, was the pride of Champagne's defenses for over two decades. At the beginning of the Gallic Invasion and the redeployment of the Royal Navy into Sirius, the Council seized the opportunity to advance their own efforts. One such advancement was the placing of La Fierte into the sparsely defended Picardy system.
Chosen to lead the advance of Council forces into Picardy, the La Fierte battlegroup spent the year of 740 AGS establishing itself in the Doullens Ice Crystal Field. After rescuing the men and women being held upon La Fere Prison Station, the La Fierte demolished the station and advanced deeper into the system. The battlegroup is now stationed in defense of the newly liberated Saint-Quentin Space Colony and Haute-Seine Shipyard as the Council prepares for the logistically complicated invasion of Planet Amiens, a world which is at least superficially a majority royalist stronghold.
