One of the older Battleships of Richelieu class, Rocroi has participated in most large battles that took place in Burgundy and Champagne during the Second Gallic War. The Battleship has an experienced crew ready to counter any threat, its courage acknowledged even by the Council. It has been stationed near the Lorraine Jump Gate.

One of the older battleships of Richelieu class, the Rocroi participated in most large battles that took place in Burgundy and Champagne during the Second Gallic War. Commanded by Rear Admiral Bastien Savatier de Fontenoy, the Rocroi and her veteran crew were charged with commanding the defense of New Paris. When the Grand Duchy called for a ceasefire and the battle never came, Admiral Savatier and his loyalists slipped the Rocroi away in the confusion, arriving back in Burgundy where it was believed they would find the most support, having sworn fealty to the Royal Enclave. Finding themselves in the Autun Nebula, it was not long before the battlegroup came upon Montbard, a Brigand Base. Having no room for unruly neighbors, Montbard was quickly destroyed, and the Rocroi has taken up residence in the heart of the Autun.

Although the Rocroi remains hidden, there is a notable lack of commitment from the state government to hunt down the battleship and her cohort. The Venissieux has orders to maintain a defensive posture, and likewise Savatier's forces seem to limit their strikes in Duchy space to Brigand and Maquis targets in an attempt to portray themselves as men of the people. Whether or not the Duchy's citizens will agree remains to be seen, and the Confederal Defense Forces still rout Enclave patrols in Burgundy wherever they're encountered.
