After most of the Oblique battlegroup defected from the GRN and joined the Council in 822 A.S., The Hades was deployed alongside the Council forces in Tau-44. The veteran Crayter strike force seemed to be scoring a decisive victory over the Oblique Royalists, until it became apparent that the defenders were engaging them only in a fighting withdraw. Their motives were of no immediate consequence to Crayter, for they had finally freed the former home system of the Republic.
With Tau-44 largely secured, Carrier Hades was redeployed to an advanced position inside Omicron Tau, where it was well positioned for strikes against both the Gauls and the Outcasts until the Carrier Helios was destroyed in 825 A.S. . The Hades has since been stationed in the Tau-31 system as part of the Republic's effort to liberate the system and Planet Harris from Gallia.
