Mull base was created by the Mollys in 772 A.S., shortly after the Jump Hole from the Chester system was discovered. The nebula was chosen because of its sensor scattering properties, and the large asteroids make it very difficult for the Bretonia Armed Forces to explore in any great detail. The base is heavily fortified, with numerous patrols keeping watch and alerting the base of would-be attackers.
Mull houses some of the Mollys most daring weapon designers, ranging from experts on Neutron weapons for the Molly fighters to nuclear weapon designers, who create the "suitcase specials" for use in their terrorist attacks.
Although the Bretonian Armed Forces are well aware the Mollys must have a base in the nebula, they have thus far been unable to find it.
