The impound station of the Bretonia Police Authority is where all ships found to be inoperable, either because of mechanical inability or incapable pilots, are towed to rest. This rest is not permanent, as fines may always be paid and paperwork may always be filed.
Most ships however are either auctioned off whole, or stripped down for parts. Ships that are too damaged to be of any value are often used for target practise by Police and Armed Forces trainees, in orbit of Planet Lyndhurst.
