The venerable Kujira-class Transport was designed with a construction philosophy based upon the conservation of scarce mineral resources, and was originally built in a more peaceful age for transporting refined H-Fuel to the four Houses.
The ultra efficient transport vessel has received wide demand from modern day trading markets, where it is widely used by corporate fleets and entrepreneurs across Sirius, rewarding the Gas Miners Guilds new business partners, Kishiro, an acclaimed addition to their shipbuilding queues, and Samura with a sore spot in its portfolio.
Agile, compact and containing one of the greatest cargo capacities in the Sirius sector within a deceptively sturdy hull the vessel nevertheless comes at a price. Virtually all defensive capabilities have been sacrificed to enable the luxuries afforded by the vessel leaving her eminently vulnerable to intercolonial piracy.
Handling
- This ship is too large to use docking bays, it must use mooring points.
For me Kujira is the best transport the fly with.She offers 4700 cargo space for a small price of 80 million.However, she has the armor of a small transport, and doesn't have any gun mounts, because of that you must be extra careful for pirates.By time you can learn where pirates will ambush you, and you can outmaneuver them.If we speak of her size , she is at least 2 times smaller than a Ryuujin , and only 300 less cargo space.Also her small size lets you take shortcuts through asteroid fields with ease. Personally I barely missed trade lanes or jump gates with her, but if you do , making quick maneuvers to recover is possible , as it is one of the most agile transports.By the way, I love the look of this ship.
Kujira makes flying a transport fun , definitely a Kusarian's choice to haul commodities through Sirius.
nerf edit: Kujira is a fun ship to fly but it can be problematic when it comes to defense capabilities , I suggest not to fly alone.
