The Watanabe Family, or rather, the Watanabe Kazoku is a heriditary legacy passed on sucessfuly from a single Royal Guard that escaped to Chugoku, and founded the Blood Dragons along with his brethren. The family can trace its roots as far back to the first century A.S, when their earliest known ancestors served in the court of the Kusari Shogun. A long line of warriors, guards and scholars, never detering from servitude to the royal Hideyoshi family, and they remain as such to this day.
Currently led by Hirotada Watanabe, whom succeeded to the position after his heirless brother Toshiro passed away.
