Early Life
Hirotada was born in 782 A.S on Planet Kitahara in the Tau 65 system. He was tutored and trained with advanced combat training since an early age, mastering most courses by the age of 15. Much of his childhood was spent either on Kitahara, or on the kazoku's secret installation on Planet Niiza, he rarely met his siblings. Being the middle child of the main Watanabe bloodline, his role was secondary, and therefore he focused mostly on martial arts and research, unlike his brother, whose training was focused on leadership so he could one day lead the Kazoku.
And so, he grew up mostly relieved from all duties a successor of the clan would have to commit to, and instead pursued a career in research on the Kawaguchi Complex on Planet Niiza. During his time on the complex he helped make some staggering breakthroughs, and gained extensive knowledge in xenobiology and AI programming. Even though he was consumed by his studies, he managed to spot strange occurences all over the complex. People suddenly going missing, sealed sections to which he was denied access, and secretive behavior displayed by some senior science staff. However, with the help of the newly installed AI "Hiderigami", which he helped "develop", he was able to expose some immoral experiments involving the genetic alteration of one of the native subterranean predators. Hirotada did not hesitate to report his findings directly to his father, who promptly shut the entire complex down and executed those responsible, or rather those responsible who still remained.
With the complex shut down, Hirotada returned first to Kyoto, then to his home on Kitahara where he now found many foreigners walking around. Upon further investigation, these foreigners revealed themselves as the agents of the Order, now allied with the Blood Dragons and combating a common threat originating from Tohoku and the deep edge nebula. Hirotada was intrigued, but knew better than to stick his nose where it did not belong, so instead of questioning further, he mostly helped them with what they needed, and then offered some of his technical expertise when they returned to Kyoto.
Not as much as a month since he last saw the Order, he heard news of their victory over the aliens, and the bloody battles that preceded. He kept in contact with his new acquaintances, and was offered to join the Order, but he kept refusing up until 805, when the dragons left Planet Kitahara, due to Chrysanthemum cardamine experiments. Not wishing to impose himself and consume resources without contributing much, he instead left for Omicron Minor, where he aligned himself with the order and put his skills to good use.
