Being the first Sirians to arrive in Zurich through a newly created Jump Hole in the Cologne system, the Unioners saw the immense possibilities that a direct line to Gallia’s criminal underworld would garner and took little time in acting upon that promise. While at first sight the Glarus cloud offered large asteroids to house a base, it was then discovered that the asteroids were little more than rubble groups strung together by a thin crust of rocks and ice. A decision was made and the investment delivered as Davos was hastily built using materials and pre-built base sections that came from Rheinland, with plans to increase its storing capacity to act as a way station and trading center, far away from the prying eyes of the local lawful forces
