Planet Blouis was discovered simultaneously with [[Orleanais]] in the year 60 [[AGS]]. Actual colonization of the planet, however, took much longer due to unhospitable atmospheric conditions. [[Terraforming]] of Blouis started circa 200 AGS and lasted for over three hundred years, with the first colony established planetside in 505 AGS. With most of the planet's surface covered with oceans, and with its warm climate, Blouis was to become the first dedicated resort planet in [[Gallia]]. However, by 500 AGS, [[Planet Nevers|Nevers]] became another potential resort world in a system only one jump away from [[New Paris]], and the [[First Gallic War]] made things worse by causing significant economic decline and delaying potential investments into the planet's infrastructure.
