The Battleship Atum is one of the newest Osiris class ships to be produced at Evora Shipyard, and was officially commissioned for duty at the end of 816 A.S..
Initially positioned in Alaska to prevent Liberty from threatening Omicron Minor, Atum has moved deeper into Sirius to investigate and counter Nomad activity in the Independent Worlds and Bretonia. At first this meant being charged with watching the Drake corridor, though with the rise of the Auxesian movement, threats against the Atum and increasing risk to maintain a job Auxesia was doing quite well made the battleship's position increasingly superfluous.
The Atum has since received orders to reposition to Coronado around the moon Jericho, keeping tabs on the new Drake anomaly that recently appeared nearby.
