|description = Inverness is another one of the untouched worlds linking [[Liberty]] to [[Bretonia]] from [[Cortez]]. [[Bretonia]] claims it as a sovereign system so the star charts indicate it as Bretonian territory. However patrols of Bretonian vessels rarely enter the system as to simply get there is very expensive in terms of fuel and time. Meanwhile, [[Junkers]] have already populated the system after the construction of [[Invergordon Space Port]] in the orbit of Planet Cannish. Junkers may claim it serves as a depot for their vessels as it was needed in that area of space. But rumours suggest their purpose there is for far darker and less legal reasons.
