History
Early life
John Clay was born on Planet Cambridge, as the youngest child in the family. He spent all his childhood here. He was a good student, but sometimes had dark times at school. John's hobby was always military tactics, he spent very much time by playing a soldier. When he was 8 years old, he experienced his first flight to space. Since then, his only dream was becoming a soldier in spaceship, fighting foes of his motherland - foes of Bretonia.
Moving to New London
He successfully passed the first and second stages of this studies. At the age of 18, he moved to Planet New London, to attend at Royal Military University. He has lots of experiences from this period of his life, like looking for new home, and settling in it afterwards. John didn't like New London for its busy traffic, but somehow he got used to it.
John reached the very elite among all his classmates. He was admired, but hated aswell. But still, John had more friends than enemies. He finished studying one year later. The year was 814 A.S., and John started looking for a job.
First job
At the age of 20, he found a job in a small mining company as the Escort Leader, which used to mine Gold Ore in Dublin. Here, he recieved his first ship ever, the Mafic. John quickly found himself in very dangerous situations, especially when pirates came. And he proved that he is a really skilled pilot. He always knew how to buy the miner ships time to escape.
On June 17, 815 A.S., John's Mafic was destroyed in a fight against pirates. His wingmen tractored his pod, and brought him to Graves Station. Fortunately, John didn't have any serious injuries that would require going to hospital. Since then, John was flying an Eagle, in which he was even better than in Mafic.
The Kusari War
John joined the mining company at the same time as war with Kusari was starting. First year, the company was running without mayor problems. But later, when Bretonia started to lose the war, the situation was getting more and more difficult. The events in the war leaded to company's death, on April 3, 817 A.S..
John "inherited" a lot of money from the company. John then continued his life unemployed. After some time, he decided to help Bretonia, and entered the second fleet, and he bought a Templar and Challenger.
In the Bretonian Armed Forces
One day, John enlisted to the Primary Fleet of the Bretonian Armed Forces. It was on March 2, 818 A.S.. Here, John met his brother, Michael Clay, who also enlisted to the BAF. They both became Ensigns on March 7, 818 A.S., and were assigned to 7th Royal Fleet, Battleship Derby. Since then, they fought together for Bretonia, and both advanced in their military career, by becoming Lieutenants, Lieutenant-Commanders, and eventually Commanders.
First Fail
Once, John met a Freelancer Mercenary, Veera Allen. After she helped him against Nature's Last Hope in Edinburgh, they became friends. Once, they met on Cambridge. They were having nice moments, until John got to know that Veera is pregnant. It was clear that he can't be the father. Since then, John kept asking Allen if there is anything she was hiding, but he never got an answer other than "It's nothing". One day, when Clay was on duty, a MI5 agent told him, that Veera Allen is working for the Hellfire Legion. John got shocked, and immediatelly called Allen to have a word with her. They met on Battleship Derby in Leeds, where she admitted she is working for the Legionnaries. John got furious and tried to arrest her, as she was targetted as a spy. MI5 though made a trade off, and let Allen go in condition that she would never come back. Few months after these events, Clay and Allen shaked hands, and both went on their own ways.
Current life

When he became a Commodore, he was appointed as the Bounty Officer, and commander of 7th Fleet, headquartered in Derby. He commands two other Battleships: Dauntless and Sovereign.
Recently, John met an Ensign, Layla Cooper. He liked hanging out around her, until they eventually fell in love on board of HMS Sovereign. They decided to keep it in secret for some time. On September 10, 819 A.S., John met Layla in his residence on Planet Cambridge, where they got engaged. The wedding took place on September 15, 819 A.S., where he, and his wife, became Count and Countess Wessex, owning a property on Planet Harris.
