An evolution of the Claymore-class Gaian gunship, the Caliburn-class Destroyer became the faction's answer to the question of force projection.

Seen mostly as the vanguard of Gaian assault parties in strikes against the likes of Planetform and BMM, the Caliburn is actually a rare sight, typically only used when combined formations of Claymores, Anacondas and Panther Bombers don't constitute enough force to make a Gaian raid "memorable" in the minds of Bretonia's citizens.

Its slim profile and surprising agility gives it an edge where other ships within the same class might lean on heavier firepower or stronger armor. While its firepower and defensive capabilities leave little to be desired, it has a somewhat high skill ceiling, making dedicated ship captains who survive commanding one amidst Bretonia's well-guarded trade lanes a rare breed.

Given its comparative strength within the Gaian shipline, command of a Caliburn-class Destroyer is given only to those most dedicated to the Gaian cause. It truly is one of the faction's sharpest "swords," and should be wielded with equally sharp skill.

Handling

  • This ship is too large to use docking bays, it must use mooring points.
