Humboldt System

Humboldt is a relatively empty system that was pointlessly populated by a Liberty Rogue population some time ago. It's sole dead rock planet Bora Bora seems the only substantial thing within the system apart from the equally dead Manaus Asteroid Field. The Liberty Rogues established a base here probably for the purpose of a remote hideout for those most wanted among their ranks. Fortaleza Base has no tactical advantage as it is so remote from any of the core systems of Liberty.

For a pilot to get back into civilization they must traverse the empty plains of Kansas back to Magellan or risk the Junkers temper through Puerto Rico to Texas.
