Biography
Early Life
Kane was born to Geoffrey Kane (b. 767 A.S.) and Breanne Colson (b. 768 A.S.) in the beginning of 795 A.S. on Padua Base. Both of his parents were cardamine smugglers for the Liberty Rogues, but, like Kane, neither of them used the drug. Kane often accompanied them on smuggling operations across Sirius, learning navigation and piloting skills for both snubcraft and larger ships during his childhood years. His early years were often spent travelling, so he never knew much of Padua.
By the time he was sixteen, Kane was flying smuggling and recon operations for the Rogues solo, at one point even testing the then-prototypical Hyena-class pirate light fighter. He received one for his efforts, but it soon was destroyed at the hands of a rather large and outnumbering force of Liberty Navy secondary fleet pilots.
Vagrant Raiders
In late 817 A.S., Kane was looking for full-time work with a group other than the Liberty Rogues. He stumbled upon, by chance, the recruitment subchannel of the Vagrant Raiders. He entered his application and almost immediately accepted and given a Bayonet-class heavy fighter. After a few promotions, he was given a surprise escalation to the High Command and the rank of Taskmaster, becoming possibly the fastest person to achieve a rank like that in the history of the faction. Kane continues to serve the Vagrant Raiders in the position of Taskmaster to this day. Since 820 A.S. he has become the leader of the faction, with Taskmaster Escher continuing to work alongside him.
Personality
Kane is an easy-going and rather laid back person, considering his stressful job in a criminal business. He is very nice although when people personally attack his friends and family, he will often snap and deliver overwhelming amounts of force for a situation that is unneeded. However, in recent months, he has gotten better about that and rarely calls in the troops for small encounters. He is compassionate and is a friend to just about anyone (exceptions include Nomads and people who want to kill him).
Relationships
Escher
Taskmaster Escher is one of Kane's closest friends. Most Vagrant Raiders decisions are made as a joint effort between the two.
