Once renowned for its valiant fights against the Kusari Naval Forces and the Gallic Royal Navy in the Taus, Battleship Stirling survived many battles. However, its age soon began to show and the old Nessie class Battleship was soon withdrawn from the front lines as the war went on, for fear of losing valuable resources in a war theatre that the Stirling would be hopelessly outclassed.
Having been tasked with minor defense missions for the last couple of months while undergoing a severe systemic refit, Battleship Stirling recently appeared in Omega-49 alongside with its escorts, to secure Bretonian interests in-system and to act as a stop-gap measure against the Corsair presence and that of other hostile factions present in Omega-49.
