+ | Despite the above, the Upholder can still be a real menace. Its bomber guns aren't very spread out, and the torpedo mounts are very close to the center, which means aiming is a breeze. It also sports a very small front/back and side/side profile, however this is offset by the giant profile from the top or bottom. Its recommended you make opponents joust you, if they are of the bomber class. If they are a fighter, just stay away and/or run, for the average fighter pilot will eat you for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and still be ready to come back for dessert. Against capital ships, you're best hunting with a couple other Upholders, and just lobbing Snacs while staying far out of range of their Battleship weaponry. Stay on your toes, because if the battleship fires at you, it won't take very many hits to make you a flying coffin. Against Gunboats, you'll need at least two to effectively make it poof. Using the same tactics as stated on the larger Cap ships, just against Gunboats you'll have to venture in their gun range to land hits for sure. }} | ||

With her shores under constant strain by pirates of all stripes and nationalities, the Liberty Navy was forced into a position of pressing beyond the solid delivery of the Havoc class bomber towards something universal, something agile, something that would look good on a recruiting poster.
The Upholder is a masterfully crafted vessel utilizing the height of Ageira drive and reactor technology to form a craft capable of unleashing devastating power in sizes thought unimaginable for the maneuverability offered. An adaptable design more than capable of handling any threat, from darting Xeno fighters to the heaviest foreign armor.

Although it may be the main bomber of the Liberty Navy, that certainly doesn't mean it does that job well, and in the Upholder's ( Also called the Cupholder ) case, it doesn't. With the handling and size of a Medium/Heavy Bomber, and the rest of the stats of a Light Bomber, the Upholder proves again that not every Navy can build capable ships.
