Chesapeake Shipyard is a small but highly advanced ship construction facility. It is used by the LSF to manufacture specialized, midsized vessels at a faster rate than Washington, which has to accommodate the fleets of the Navy. The facility is equipped with a wide range of automated machinery to increase productivity without requiring too many workers. It's also designed to customize ships for specific missions - advanced sensors for reconnaissance, extra fuel pods for long range missions or a low-emission power core for stealth running.
