"I know what is the most valuable in my life. My Familie and my service for the Vaterland."

~ Markus von Siedhoff

Markus von Siedhoff is a member of the RM since 800 A.S.. He joined the Rheinwehr after he ended his study, just at the outbreak of the nomad war. Markus was still young at that time but still very brave and passed the test to become a soldier in 800 A.S..

Background

Markus Valentin von Siedhoff was born on Planet Hamburg in 785 A.S., May 21st. He was raised by his mother Hilde and sometimes by his father Sigmund. The young Markus was disappointed, that the high ranked officer was rarely at home, due to his military service for the Vaterland. Markus still had to learn, that the service on tje field, was the greatest honor for a Rheinländer, especially for a Von Siedhoff. He didn't have many friends, his father is a strict and conservative person. Markus went to a private school for children of noble families, the Otto-von-Bismarck Schule on Planet Hamburg. There the propaganda of Rheinland was burned into his heart by programs like the Kriegsherald. After he graduated school, Markus decided to follow the line of his ancestors in the family and join the fight for Rheinland as a Rheinwehr officer. He left Hamburg to go to the Rheinwehr Militär Akademie on Neu Berlin to train for the field service and study for a Offizierslaufbahn. During his study he fell in love with Mira von Langen who lived on Planet New Berlin at that time. Markus just finished his Studium as the Nomad War broke out. He served on the RWK Kaiserstolz as 1. Kapitänleutnant unter Admiral Karl-Heinz von Thielau. Markus was a lucky soldier, as Karl-Heinz was able to prevented infection aboard his glorious Battleship. They succeeded and pushed the Nomads out of Sigman 13. After the war, the Offiziere aboard the Kaiserstolz were awarded with the Eichenlaub and Markus was promoted to Flottenkapitän. He was disappointed after Karl-Heinz' retired, but he quickly got to know Admiral Bäke and later Admiral Hetzer's experience on the field. He established a friendship with Karl-Heinz' son, Konteradmiral Wolfgang von Thielau. They are now fighting side by side in the Kusari War and talk with the other nobles about the idea of an imperial government at the same time.
