The Von Siedhoff family has its roots in the old München und Germany on the earth. The von Siedhoffs' ancestors were all part of the high class society amd experienced all privileges until the war between the Coalition and the Alliance. After the Sirius settlement, the von Siedhoffs had to start again from the ground. The von Siedhoffs migrated to Planet Nürnberg first and started to establish the governmental institutions with the other high class noble families, the so called Hochadel. Already in 50 A.S. the von Siedhoffs had regained their status, as they have had it before. Many members of the Von Siedhoffs were high ranked officers in the Rheinwehr and the Polizei, as well as in the Intelligenz. Peter Otto Friedrich von Siedhoff, the elder in the early 60's A.S., soon met with the Von Ehrenberg Family and the Von Thielau Family, who all were privileged by the Kaiser. The Golden Age of the family ended with Von Rohe's Day.
Just like all noble families, the von Siedhoffs lost almost everything during the revolution. Members of the family were hanged for treason, others were acquitted. The surviving members of the family moved to Planet Hamburg and try to continue their normal life. The former high society continues even after the Von Rohe's Day with the system of nobility, as for example on Stuttgart the omd imperial families were left in charge. Hamburg was one of these systems too. After this day the family needed other ways than pure military heroism to keep their status. Some Von Siedhoffs began to work for Krüger and Daumann boards. This change helped the family to continue as before the revolution.
Soon, the family was hit by the next catastrophe; the Nomad War in 800 A.S.. With the outbreak of the war, the military leaders were ordered to the front and of course, some lost their life, falling at the Front fir the Vaterland. Some of the Von Siedhoffs were infected, caught by the Intelligence, questioned and in the most cases executed afterwards. Only some were lucky. Markus' father Sigmund Christoph von Siedhoff was cured and sent to rehabilitation on Baden-Baden.
In the late 810's A.S. the family had recovered from the events of the Nomad War. The family wasn't on the BDM's list of observations of infected anymore and they re-gained their old positions in the government. With the Imperial Movement rising, the family was contacted by the von Ehrenbergs and the von Thielaus. They now have the unique chance, just like the rest of the nobles in Rheinland to re-establish their influence and old social status in the upper part of the nobility of Rheinland.

Markus von Siedhoff is a member of the RM since 800 A.S.. He joined the Rheinwehr after he ended his study, just at the outbreak of the nomad war. Markus was still young at that time but still very brave and passed the test to become a soldier in 800 A.S..
