The Fearless-class forms the basis of Zoner defensive deployments. Originally a medium Transport hull, the ship's cargo bays were filled with improved power relays to support more sophisticated weaponry than that usually accessible to transports. Smaller and more maneuverable in comparison with other ships of the same class, the Fearless has enough firepower and hull strength to keep most opponents at bay. This ship can be seen in many different regions of Sirius, guarding freeports or protecting Zoner convoys.
Handling

Fearless is a ship that is poorly cut, but strongly sewn. As the name suggests, this ship is designated to a role of torpedo-boat destroyer, an it accomplishes this role very well. Being sleek, agile both in turn and strafe, it can evade incoming Supernova shots, while being strong enough to withstand occasional SNAC hits and bursts from Hellfire pods. Twin Razors can instantly vaporize any snub came into 300-400m range, while Solarises can harass them on distances up to 800-900m. Concerning firing arcs, all nine turrets can fire straightly forward, from five to eight can fire backwards (depends on elevation), four or five to the sides, four to bottom and only three (while two of them are Heavies) — straightly upwards.
Depending on used tactics, Fearless can easily handle two skilled bomber pilots and up to five newbies, and in relatively good hands it can bring a K'Hara/Wilde down a peg or two. Unfortunately, what the ship lacks is anti-capital ship capabilities, having now only 2 heavy slots and a small, weak powercore. One Light Mortar shot eats up 2/3 of all your energy and takes 11 seconds to regenerate, while the ship can barely support only one constantly firing Pulse or Razor.
Overall, the ship is a great counter to pirate bombers and even light gunboats, thus excellently complementing a Zoner trade convoy or fitting the place of 'flak frigate' in a battle fleet. If you want to go purely anti-snub, then the recommended layout is twin Razors and full Solarises, and if you're going to PvE missions, it's better to install Light Mortar, Razor and Pulse in slots 4, 5 and 6, then fill up remaining hardpoints with Zoner Cruiser Turrets.

The Zoners "Fearless" destroyer is an exceptional cruiser, being small, maneuverable enough to keep a sluggish pace with bombers, and having enough firepower to take the fight to ships on par with its class. It has a 'Little Mac' syndrome for its size packing a powerful punch, if filled out right. The vessel has four guns on top, the front center gun only able to aim a 180 degree arc, usually this one is best saved for a capital-class mortar, razor, or missile. The other three can aim in any direction except directly down. The bottom guns consist of three in the midsection of the ship, just like the top three, and two on the edges of its rounded profile. The two outer edge weapons can match the bottom three, or be a foreward-class weapon. In my case I outfitted the Fearless with one Light Mortar for the top and front gun, two Razors or Pulse cannons for the bottom two on its edges, and Solaris guns for the remaining 6 twin "triplets" on its top and bottom for fighting off fighters and bombers with equal ease. Otherwise, it offers much to customize towards the taste of the pilot on weapon usage and placement. Its smaller profile and agily needs to be noted, as in a fight this destroyer's low profile and size lends you an edge to be the last capital ship targetted, as you are unassuming and tiny against the backdrop of larger cruisers.
