The Battleship York played a significant role in delaying the advancing Gallic forces in the Leeds system, allowing Bretonia to disable the jumpgates leading out of the system, and thereby stalling the Gallic advance. It was one of the last ships to retreat through the New London jumpgate. Damaged but operational, she has taken up position by the northern jumpgate in New London.
