Karl Bishop is an IMG Transport and Security pilot currently operating in the Tau systems.

Early Days

Born 786 A.S., Karl Bishop grew on Planet Leeds's industrial zone and raised by his father who was a mechanic then. Back in his youth, he was introduced into smuggling, gambling and various underworld activities. At the age of 19, shortly after his father's natural daeth, he faced one hard decision, if he was to continue his father's work in the workshop or to start a freelancer life, exploring the universe, meeting new people. Well at least thats what he thought when he sold his father's workshop for a Voyager freighter.

Smuggler Days

One would think that selling his workshop would lead him to a more profitable legal work. Well, it is wrong. With his new freighter he started smuggling caradamine, artifacts, blood diamonds, basicaly, if it is illegal, than it is worth it. Years passed with no notable change in his life. Smuggling, gambling, a couple of years in various libertonian and bretonian prisons. Life seemed to lose its touch for him. So he decided to make a change.

Joining the IMG

In the late 820 A.S. he decided to join the Independent Miners Guild for the sake of fortune. Loyalty wasn't one of his notable traits, he took a numerous smuggling contracts after joining the IMG, even though he never betrayed the IMG's trust with smuggling illegal for the IMG goods, not even once.
