Life before the Xenos
If that was even life, as he used to say, Seth's early life was spent in a large sweet in very center of the Manhattan megalopolis, with a balcony from which most of the region could be seen. He grew up without a single care in the world, and got the best and most expensive private education. He finished the private and expensive "Blue Maiden" University, on Denver, with mostly high grades, much to his parents' joy. He was a sort of a bookworm, studying all the time, with no time for social life in most cases. After he graduated, he sought to understand the society and it's flaws publishing a vaguely noticed book named "The King's View", making a comparison between the rich elite of Manhattan, and the various under-payed or unemployed workers all around Liberty, most notably Planet Houston.
He traveled to Ames Research Station frequently, for the purpose of meeting a certain young lady named Olivia Marsters that lived there. They dated for a few months, before deciding to marry, a somewhat of a rushed decision. A few months after the couple's happy wedding, Seth's parents died in a fluke accident that occurred on their private Luxury Yacht, while cruising through the reaches of the Edge Nebula, just about at the same time that Olivia announced that she was pregnant. Seth was torn by two feelings, the mourning of his parents' death, and the happiness of his upcoming child. Seth inherited all of the family belongings, several houses, and a chain of small companies all over Liberty and some in Bretonia. Then ranked as one of the richest people in Liberty, he gave most of his riches into charity, retaining several companies, for the purpose of generating more funds, which he could place where he wanted.
As his daughter was born, he stopped his frequent travels all over Liberty, and devoted himself to managing the family belongings from Ames, and continuing his research in spare time. Over time, Seth stumbled over a book that a Xeno was distributing on the station, it was "The Unstoppable Truth" written by the famous Xeno activist, Adam Greerson. When he found time to study the book deeply, he came to see that it held answers to most of his questions, about the current situation in his beloved state. He found himself enchanted by the well written words that Greerson placed into the book.
Shortly after, he found out that his ideas he wrote inside the "King's View", did not go completely unnoticed. He was contacted by someone who seemed like a certain politician, more than a Xeno. They frequently for several days, after which Seth was irreversibly convinced to join the movement. He was blindfolded, taken into a freighter and transported to Nome Base, not too far away from Ames. There he made an agreement with the influential Xenos that operated there, to serve as a financial supplier and an anonymous operative in the movement. He was taken to Seguro Refugio, and with the finds he provided, he was placed into an office of his own, where he could continue his studies and find ways to fight the corruption in Liberty more with words than with weapons, although the first does not exclude the second.
