La Boulou outpost was bult as a defensive installation to fortify one of the passages into the Roussillon system. An additional measure taken by The Council's exiled fleet to keep undesirables at bay until they have fully recovered from the defeat in Languedoc. The station itself is still under construction and has a small growing, accompanying minefield as an extra precaution against intrusion from Newcastle. The IMG also have a hand in it's construction, but are purely responsible for the domestic regions of the station where as The Council watch over it's militarized developments.
