Background Story
Jan was born on the planet Marseille, May of 788 A.S. His mother Ilonna Aphelvall, wasn’t married to Jan’s father Lue, making him a bastard child. They met only thrice in fact. Jan’s mother Illonna was unhappily married to a wealthy trader named Kulle, meeting Lue on the Planet Marseille during a business trip, culminating in a six hour affair. After two months, Ilonna learned that she became pregnant from Lue, knowing that Kulle would likely be furious, Ilonna ran from Kulle to planet Marseille to meet up with Lue. Of course Kulle was furious as expected and went to Marseille as fast as he could for the simple task of killing Ilonna and her love affair, as Ilonna was well aware of what her husband would do she called Police upon arrival. Ilonna for a reason known only by herself, left Lue and disappeared. Seven months later she returned so to place Jan in the protection of Lue. However, he was not there – he left no less than five months ago, and with no one to take care of Jan and his mother having her own plans she left him at an orphanage. Upon turning eighteen, Jan enlisted in the Gallic Royal Navy where, unlike school, he thrived. Due to his stellar performance during his enlistment period, Jan attended the Gallic Royal Navy Academy for advanced officer training where he met his future partner, Savas de Lyon. Three years later both Jan and Savas completed their advanced officer courses and volunteered for a force recon wing of the Royal Navy that specialized in reconnaissance and sabotage behind enemy lines.
