Despite being an older design La Fierte, true to her name, was the pride of Champagne's defenses for over two decades. At the beginning of the Gallic Invasion and the redeployment of the Royal Navy into Sirius, the Council seized the opportunity to advance their own efforts. One such advancement was the placing of La Fierte into the sparsely defended Picardy system.
In late 824A.S. the venerable La Fierte was chosen to lead the offensive against the Royalist forces within Picardy. It currently lies near the edge of the Doullens Ice Crystal Field, serving as a forward base of operations for the Council after successfully assaulting, and liberating, the nearby La Fere Prison Station
